Mission Statement
The mission of CAMPS is to deliver to its members services and products
that enable the members to excel in the provision of service to their patients.
CAMPS strives to help its members in several areas by providing information
and services useful to providers of home medical services or equipment.
The scope of the services offered by CAMPS is determined by the needs of
its members and has historically been focused in the following areas; government
relations and advocacy, educational programs and resource materials, liaison
between members and claims payors, and advocacy for users of home medical
equipment.
The success of CAMPS is largely determined by its ability to deliver
to its members consistently relevant and useful services and products in
a cost effective manner. The CAMPS board of directors and executive staff
exists to facilitate the legitimate business interests of its members by
providing consultation, leadership, direction and advocacy of the issues
that are deemed important to our industry's growth and development. We
fully expect that all activities undertaken by CAMPS will result in benefit
to its members in excess of what the member may be able to accomplish without
the benefit of association with contemporaries or peers.
CAMPS will at all times strive to maintain the highest ethical standards
in all relationships. We will continuously seek to be represented on our
boards, committees and staff by technically competent professionals whose
motives are to make improvements for the industry and whom can put self
interest aside for the good of the membership. We expect that faithful
adherence to our mission will result in CAMPS attaining a leadership role
in all issues of relevance to our members and that our success as a non
profit service association will be assured in the future.
